Well, here we are at the end of another football season. It's been a pretty big one, what with Truro City securing National League South survival in their final year away from the county, while Mousehole did brilliantly to sneak into the play-offs in their first ever year in the Southern League.
The Seagulls will be joined by Helston Athletic and Falmouth Town next season after both sides clinched their own historic promotions, while St Austell will be in the uncharted territory of the Western League after a glorious SWPL Premier West title-winning campaign.
There is so much to look forward to next season, but it is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that this Cornwall Football newsletter won't be returning with it. For anyone with a paid subscription, we’ll be cancelling your accounts and there should be no further charges at all. Annual subscribers will be refunded in accordance with the length of time left on your subscription.
We launched this newsletter in December 2022 with the intention of providing the regular written coverage of local football that has been lacking in traditional media outlets for a number of years. While we believe we did achieve that, unfortunately we haven't been able to gain a sufficient number of paid subscribers to make this newsletter financially sustainable.
A lot of time and hard work went into creating the newsletter, which was published as many as four times per week earlier in the season, and the income from paid subscribers simply wasn't covering the costs involved. It means that the newsletter as a business is not viable, and therefore, sadly, we are calling it a day.
All that's left to say is thank you to those of you who did support us over the last 18 months, and enjoy the 2024/25 season.

Sorry to see you go , you were without doubt the most comprehensive coverage of football in the county
I have enjoyed reading the reports and thank you for keeping me in touch with Cornish Football from Derbyshire. I paid a subscription because I saw it as value for money so I am disappointed this is the end of the road. Thank you!
